All the counsel you have received has only worn you out!
(Isaiah -13)I will destroy your witchcraft and you will no longer cast spells.
(Micah )They did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood --idols that cannot see or hear or walk.
They are not here for the purposes of prosletyzing - which is also against the rules. And then there's the virgin birth..yes, the famous magical virgin birth....well, I know what I said to my own daughter when she tried to claim the same...haha! Okay, I'm getting off my soap box now..my answer to the original post is simple really...."Live and let live and harm no one! The force behind the action becomes the Holy Spirit or the Will of God rather than the will of the magi acting on some universal energy or some bound spirit or compelled deity. Alas, no proof, no way of proving, just bald-faced slander from the writers of that religion, programmed urges and feelings about what is bad and good, none of which constitutes proof of anything.
Your post doesn't seem to have a point other than to show that the Judaeo-Christian scriptures blacklist any miracle workers other than their own. Not me, nor I suspect a host of other non-Christians. a lovely baroque and just hint of raspberries and plums. I'm sure many of the peoples wiped out by YHWH's miracles felt that they were subject to the most horrible of demonic magic by the Devil God of the Israelites that had plagues and brimstone descend upon them, simply because they had the misfortune to worship differently or live in areas the Israelites wanted to inhabit.
Is there a point to this or just a drive by of "divinely endorsed slander"? Light fruit and perfect for an afternoon wedding reception I give it a 98,9Ahhhh artz, I'm so very sorry.... Different point of view equals different definition of magic. To state that "the One True God" says that magic is evil is not only indefensible nonsense, it's grounds for getting the boot from the forums and rightly so.
(1 Timothy 4)Command certain men not to teach false doctrines any longer nor to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies.
These promote controversies rather than God's work - which is by faith.
