Whether you’ve been to many open readings or are new to the whole idea, come along on Wednesday for an informal and relaxed literary evening. In addition to all the usual capers, there will also be an option for anyone interested to try out for the University of Gloucestershire poetry slam team. As always, this will be a chance to read your prose, poetry, and plays, and to hear what your peers are writing, but it will also be a chance to celebrate assessments submitted and work well done.
You’re encouraged to read some of your work (readings should last no longer than five minutes), but you’re equally welcome just to listen, drink, meet new and familiar faces, or hang around in the smoking area trying to look bohemian. In ‘the barn’ at the Frog and Fiddle pub on Cheltenham High Street.
